M TRAIN upcycled faux leather bookmarks

Like your favourite book, a great bookmark is always by your side. As an avid reader and bookmark connoisseur myself, I figured Id start making my own.

I use the smallest upcycled scraps of faux leather, deerhide and suede (donated to me by a friend) and meticulously arrange them in a puzzle-piece fashion into the small, rectangular works of creativity you see today. Several of these bookmarks are backed with sreenprinted bamboo-fabric scraps from another local creative.

They're scrappy, one of a kind, and durable!
And of course, they pair nicely with your favourite paperbacks and hardback books.

Screens are convenient, but nothing beats the touch and feel of a great book in one's hands.

Handmade by me in Nova Scotia, Canada. Designed by me in Canada from 95% recycled materials.

Care/Cleaning: Wipe clean with damp cloth and warm water. Occasional wetness will not hurt these pieces, but do not soak.
